About the Game
The story of Conquest of Nations starts in Durham, NC in 2007 where Bryce Yoder, wishing to play a strategy game online with several college friends, was unable to find a suitable website. Unmoved by other diplomatic games with awkward interfaces or limited options, Bryce took the initiative and began programming Conquest of Nations from scratch, incorporating all of the missing features he sought for his own gaming experience. Many late nights, early mornings, and trial and error produced the game you are about to enjoy today. Conquest of Nations was launched in August 2008, quickly gaining momentum and praise for its functionality, ease of use, and diversified map offerings. Bryce’s vision for the game grew with the membership and enlisted Jay Wilson, a childhood friend, to help take the game to the next level in 2009. Our vision is to have the finest online strategy game available by drawing on the best minds and most competitive players on the web. You, the player, build this game and its culture. Your suggestions, participation, and feedback on the site set us apart; together we will emerge as the premier site in gaming. Thank you for taking part in our revolution. Conquest of Nations, where Strategy is Everything. |
